Our brightest artists (literally) come forth in this exhibition highlighting intensity and vivid coloration. Artists Sebastian Riffo-Montenegro, Alea Pinar du Pre, Jonjo Elliott, Alex Voinea, Olympio, and Marco Schmidli take electric colors to new bounds across all styles of art.

Chilean artist Sebastian Riffo Montenegro is a visual artist that also works in Marketing and Advertising. Maintaining a lucrative career with each trajectory he takes, Montenegro maintains a solid production of artworks that criticize consumer society and socially constructed beliefs. By passing these images through acrylic paint to create a representation of an object, they lose their programmed expiration and become timeless reflections of consumption.

Alea Pinar Du Pre is an artist with an immense curiosity in the nature of reality. Her work explores the territory between the world ‘out there’ and our very different 'worlds within’. Her paintings portray the fact that our perceptions of solid reality are deceptively virtual.

Jonjo Elliott is a mixed-media artist working in a range of mediums, from paper and paint to skate ramps and chairs. Working from his studio in the UK, his vibrant works are inspired by the spaces surrounding him and his large scale still life's are intended to bring color and delight into the homes of his collectors.

Alex Voinea was born in Romania in 1973.Inspired by experiements with paint poured over vibrating surfaces such as speakers at full volume, Voinea collaborates with chance to evoke the energy of the moment. Projections of paint, splashes of pure material, and streams of color in space are whiplash expressions of the temporary.

Painting, for Olympio, is following a feeling. He starts with the blank canvas, a splash of blue, red, or whatever color speaks to him and goes from there. He uses oil, acrylic, brushes, his hands—anything he is inspired by. He scratches the canvas and uses paint straight from the tube. For him, there is no hidden story or elusive meaning behind each painting. The matter is in the material and the moment; a latent feeling within the power of his work.

Marco Schmidli's work is known for its sensitive surfaces and subtle textures. He has developed specialized techniques for applying and layering color. His artworks have been featured in the film and entertainment industry, such as fashion photography, celebrity portraits, music videos, films, editorials, and at red carpet events.

As one of the world’s most collected, significant pop artists today, Nelson De La Nuez is a born iconoclast. Using his unique juxtaposition of pop culture and surrealism, blended with America’s rich culture and history, De La Nuez has created works of art that are considered timeless.
